In 1977, Grand Prix Car Accessories
Center was established by Engr.
Alireza "Ali" Etemadi and Professor Emeritus Felisa Uy Etemadi with the goal of providing
quality
automotive accessories and air-conditioning services for vehicle owners. Through its commitment to
reliable service, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction, the company gradually built a strong
reputation among customers and the local community.
As customer demand grew, the company expanded its range of products and services by introducing a retail
tire business. This strategic addition allowed the company to better meet the needs of customers by
offering more comprehensive automotive solutions under one roof, from vehicle maintenance and
accessories to tire replacement and related services.
In 2006, the company further strengthened its presence in the automotive industry through the
establishment of Cebu Grand Prix Capitol Co. This marked an important
milestone in the company's growth
and expansion. Over the years, the business evolved from a service-oriented enterprise into a trusted
distributor and importer of tires while also expanding its product line to include lubricant oils and
car batteries, supplying a wide range of quality automotive products throughout the Central Visayas
region.
